Terms of Use / License Agreement for CV Mastery

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the digital products, templates, and resources (“Templates”) offered by CV Mastery (“we,” “us,” “our”). By downloading, purchasing, or using any Template from CV Mastery, you agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement (“EULA”). Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree, do not download or use the Templates.

END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

This EULA is a binding contract between You (the individual purchasing or accessing the Templates) and CV Mastery regarding the permitted use of the Templates made available through this website or through any purchase you complete.

“You” refers to the individual purchaser or authorized user of the Templates. Templates include all digital files, resume designs, worksheets, graphics, layouts, and documents offered by CV Mastery.

1. License Grant

Upon full payment of the purchase price, CV Mastery grants You a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download, use, and modify the Templates for your personal use only, subject to the restrictions outlined in this EULA.

You acknowledge that Templates are licensed, not sold, and that all rights not expressly granted to You remain the property of CV Mastery.

Any use of the Templates outside the scope of this EULA is strictly prohibited and may violate copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

2. License Restrictions

All rights not expressly granted to You are reserved by CV Mastery. Without limiting the foregoing, You may NOT:

  • Reproduce, sell, publish, distribute, or share the Templates, in whole or in part, in any form.
  • Upload, post, or make Templates available for download on websites, marketplaces, social media, or file-sharing platforms.
  • Sell printed or digital versions of the Templates to third parties.
  • Claim ownership or authorship of the Templates or any derivative works created from them.
  • Use the Templates to create competing products, resume templates, or design assets for sale.
  • Use the Templates in a business capacity such as client work, consulting work, or resume-writing services without purchasing a commercial license (if available).
  • Templates are intended only for individual personal use, meaning You may use them to create your own resume, cover letter, or personal documents—not for resale or distribution.

3. Payment

Your license to use the Templates is conditioned upon full payment of the applicable purchase fee.

You agree that:

  • You are responsible for providing accurate payment and billing information.
  • You are responsible for all applicable taxes.
  • All sales are final unless otherwise stated in our Refund Policy.

If CV Mastery incurs any costs enforcing these Terms, including collection or legal fees, You agree to reimburse those costs.

4. Ownership

All Templates are the exclusive intellectual property of CV Mastery and are protected by:

  • Copyright laws
  • Intellectual property rights
  • International copyright treaties

This includes all designs, layouts, graphics, content, instructional guides, and formatting styles.

Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership to You.

5. Termination

CV Mastery reserves the right to terminate your license immediately if you violate any terms of this EULA. Upon termination, You must:

  • Immediately cease using the Templates
  • Delete all copies of the Templates from your devices
  • Refrain from distributing or using any derivative works made from the Templates

No refunds will be issued for terminated licenses resulting from a violation of these Terms.

6. No Warranty

Templates are provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind, including:

  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy
  • Non-infringement
  • Suitability for employment outcomes

We do not guarantee:

  • Interviews
  • Job offers
  • Employment outcomes
  • Resume performance

Your results depend on your personal effort, background, industry, and job market conditions.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event will CV Mastery be liable for:

  • Any indirect, consequential, or special damages
  • Loss of income, profits, business opportunities, or data
  • Any claims arising from improper use of the Templates

These limitations apply even if CV Mastery has been advised of possible damages.

8. Updates to Terms

CV Mastery may revise these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Templates after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
